I have always had a weakness for Avril Lavigne. Sk8er Boi is a great pop tune, as long as you recognize that the antecedent is Phil Spector, not Patti Smith. Or Patty Smythe, for that matter.  Glad Avril's getting into couture, with the requisite ab crunches and skipped lunches that involves.  However, the Ramones T is somehow an affront. The faux punk pose was forgivable in a tot from Napanee caterwauling over some fluff from  the Matrix,, but if she is gonna hang out with Karl Lagerfield, the whole Spencer Gifts aesthetic needs a revisit.
