Aw, J/J bashing, I can't quit you. Not when you make it so hard not to. The NYT's summer of love for the forthcoming Julie & Julia movie reaches its climax, one hopes*, with a banner advertisement across the bottom of page 1 of the print edition of today's DI/DO. With one thing and another, I've missed the print edition of DI/DO fairly frequently this summer, and while front page ads are not unprecedented, it used to be sacrosanct space, and given the avalanche of editorial coverage of J/J in the Times in recent weeks, it does seem unseemly.
*Still no actual review. Is Tony or Manola unpacking their adjectives?
