Also, there is a "Hangar Steak," which may be a Japanese term for "Hanger Steak,"  or a special kind of steak for air travel, or bad editing. A "hangar" is a common error, based on a roughly 14:1 hanger:hangar ratio on Google, but Bourdain, and the OED, are on the side of "hanger." You don't like to see spellcheck goofs like this in student papers, let alone the freaking paper of record.

The error is more than orthographic, as it betray a basic ignorance of butchery. The cut in question is named for the way it hangs off the carcass. But perhaps Bruni thinks cows grow on airplanes?
