Hi - I am glad that you are interested in the challenge! I would encourage you to check out the sites of others who participated. I was really proud that many from all over the country took the Eat Local Challenge and pushed their own foodsheds to the limit. While many of the Locavores were from SF, the blog portion of the challenge really spread all over the globe.

BTW - love the name of your blog.


I agree with every thing you say but one: my conscience is no match for my deep desire where butter is concerned.

Since I'm relatively new to the GC, I'm not fully hip to the meat lab part of your shopping trip. Do you think there's a school near me that can so hook me up?
