for a dead sheep. Better than 99 problems, and let's hope a bitch also ain't one here, either. Which is to say that a doc has dropped with all that you could possibly want to know about sheep in the Stans, with the catchy title 37 Uses for a Dead Sheep. Like a good disgruntled Dem, Van Culi demands a recount, and finds they come up short. Still, when you look up "Lamb" in your favorite cookbook, are there entries for multiple fermented dairy products, not to mention "Yurt," "Dung" "When the Bride Comes," not to mention "Military Service"? Also, that bleached and waxed rib chop in the case at the supermarket will be of little utility for a rousing game of buzkashi* with the neighbors. If there are any readers who are in the documentary film loop, I'd love to know if this is screening Stateside.
*The national sport of Afghanistan. Amazed it has not caught on as NASCAR sideshow.
