The Cod does not want to let this new political status go to his head, but: 

1) Twitter is good at perceiving zeitgeist, but not so good at registering ambivalence. When social media is out in front of mainstream media, the first draft of history is maybe not one you want to clip and save. 

2) Speaking of ambivalence, neither drink specials nor commemorative thongs seem like quite the way to mark this moment.
