Fear death by Oreos

With apologies to Mme. Sosostris for the title of the post, but the Drop Dead Gorgeous photo series by Daniela Edburg certainly qualifies as a wicked pack of cards:
 

There is an interview with the artist here. I can imagine reasonable disagreement, but to my mind, the images stay just outside of the kind of LaChappellian glibness that would undercut the serious theme. Ultimately, the effect is almost as if Becker and Fagen were one much younger female visual artist concerned with disordered eating.
